Effigy Mounds: Sacred Sites & Native Arts
Effigy mounds are sacred sites found throughout the park. Rob Nurre, historian and former president of the Wisconsin Archaeology Society, will guide participants in engaging with these sacred sites and creating a lasting memory of their experience.

Class is at the Nature Center at Devil's Lake. Programming is made possible through the generous support of the WI DNR, Little Eagle Arts Foundation, the Friends of Devil's Lake State Park, WI Arts Board, and Sauk County.
Fees/Admission
This free workshop is a part of the Tee Wákacak program series, and is a partnership between Little Eagle Arts Foundation and the Nature Center at Devil's Lake State Park. Pre-registration is required due to limited class size. Call the Nature Center (608) 356-8301 ext. 140 to reserve your spot.
